Iglesia Evangelistica: Spreading Hope in Paraiso, Jiquilisco
Paraiso, Jiquilisco is a rural community in the southwest region near the coastal bay of Jiquilisco. This began as an evangelistic visit by Rick and a group of men from the San Marcos church to the home of relatives of church members. Fourteen people responded to an altar call and this became a small home meeting that lasted for a few months. The work began to flounder for various reasons and the fruit of the original outreach was nearly gone. In prayer the Lord put it on the heart of Kim to develop a literacy evangelism team ministry to focus on the children in the area.
Kids Action: Bike For Kids
Kids Action brings joy to children in need by gifting bicycles at our annual Christmas event, Bikes for Kids. Each year, we partner with schools to identify families, sending over 12,500 nomination letters. On December 14, 2024, families will join us to pick up bikes and enjoy activities like a Christmas fair, bike maintenance, a Christmas store with free clothes, toys, books, and holiday treats.
To date, we have given away over 9,000 bikes in Pottawattamie County, making a significant impact in our community.
Cambodia Outreach in Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Cambodia Outreach is committed to planting New Testament Churches in every province and community in Cambodia. Through relevant evangelism, relational discipleship, leadership training, as well as humanitarian relief and development, Cambodia Outreach is extending the Kingdom of God throughout the nation of Cambodia.
Cambodia Outreach is actively involved in serving the people of Cambodia through health care, education, child sponsorship, housing for disadvantaged students, agricultural development and Office Skills Training Centre. Cambodia Outreach seeks to minister to the whole person spirit, soul, and body.
Helping orphans and vulnerable children in Malawi Africa
Hope House Orphan Care – Their mission is to not only feed the orphans, but help support these children through primary and secondary education. We also assist with shoes, clothes, blankets and mosquito nets. These children are the future of Malawi and feel blessed to assist in equipping them.
